The ASME Fluids Engineering Division is sponsoring a symposium on the topic of Verification and Validation (V&V) of Computation Fluid Dynamics codes for the FED summer meeting. The Symposium will emphasize industrial problems with special attention paid to V&V on unstructured grids. Symposium papers describing new standards and methods for V&V, case studies on V&V efforts, as well as the design and execution of Validation experiments are sought. The quantification of uncertainties in both experimental and CFD methods and how these uncertainties propagate through the V&V process will be a focus.
