Preface

―  Theme : "The Conference of Fluid Engineering Division"  ―

The 102nd JSME Fluid Engineering Conference was held on City Hall Plaza-Aôre Nagaoka from November 19th to 20th, 2024. The conference had a keynote speech by Dr. Tomita of JAXA, a special lecture by Prof. Uemura of Nagaoka University of Technology and 11 organized sessions. In all sessions, active discussion was performed.

This issue of the newsletter is the "The Conference of Fluid Engineering Division". The speakers of the keynote speech, JSME young researcher best presentation fellow award, fluid engineering conference best presentation award, and the dream of flow contest award. With the cooperation of many authors, we will publish it dividedly in the first half and the second half. We hope that the articles are informative for engineers and researchers in our field and help to share the activities of the fluids engineering division in the future.
